Cookie Policy
This page explains what DocBurst stores in your browser and why. When you first visit, a banner lets you choose between essential-only and accepting optional cookies - your choice is saved in your browser and you can change it any time by clearing that stored choice.
Essential (always on)
Strictly necessary for the Service to function - there is no toggle for these because disabling them means the app cannot work at all.
- Firebase Authentication session state, so you stay signed in between visits.
- Your cookie-consent choice itself, so we don't ask again every visit.
Non-essential (off by default, requires your consent)
DocBurst does not currently run any analytics or advertising scripts. This category exists so that if we add optional, non-essential tooling in the future (for example, product analytics to understand feature usage), it will load only for visitors who have actively chosen “Accept All” - never by default, and never for essential functionality.
Managing your choice
Declining non-essential cookies does not affect your ability to use DocBurst - every core feature works identically either way. You can revisit your choice at any time by clearing your browser's local storage for this site, which will show the consent banner again on your next visit.
